Canine Infectious Disease Survey

AKC-Canine Health Foundation Survey - Dog Show Exhibitors

Have you ever shown a dog in a conformation event? If so, we need your help to protect dog health!

Our research team was recently awarded a grant from the AKC-Canine Health Foundation to investigate infectious disease risks (e.g., dog flu) for dogs at group settings, such as conformation shows. Currently, there is little information available about infectious disease risks at group dog events. This study will be a critical step toward better understanding disease risks and developing steps to reduce these risks and protect dog health.

If you have ever shown a dog in a conformation event, we are asking you to help by taking a short on-line survey designed to gather information about your dogs, practices you follow to keep them healthy and your concerns about infectious diseases at the events where your dog(s) compete.

Participation in the study is completely voluntary and involves completing a 5-minute on-line survey. Your name will not be collected, and no identifying or individual results will be released.
