| started out in 1958 showing my first dog, an Afghan for my parents who were very involved in our local kennel club. I have been involved with dogs ever since. I got my first Whippet in 1977 and 6 months later I acquired another one. I guess the rest is history for me. I've produced a few champions, lure coursers of merit and an ROM bitch. In my personal life I was a product manager and people manager for 34 years at Hewlett Packard and I have been was the American Whippet Club National Show Chair for 30 years and an AKC judge for 25 years. I guess you can say Whippets are a big part of my life. I've been married to my husband f or 51 years with one daughter, two grandsons and a great grandson. |
